Grant Park Film Fest
They showed classic films on Tuesdays, we decided to see two of them.
Went to Grant Park for a free showing of 'Some Like it Hot'.
It was alot more crowded than I had expected.
The surrounding skyline was nice looking as the sun went down.
We all played cards while we waited for dusk. I love playing cards.
Amy learned how to play hearts.
At sundown it was fun to play with lights.
The screen was far away but we were still able to see just fine.
No attempt to shoot the film in progress would work.
Leaving afterwards was crowded but kind of fun.
We sat in the car for ages waiting to leave the parking lot.
Nice not to be the designated driver, isn't it.
We went the next week to see Dr. Strangelove. This time my mom came with.
And so did Mitch and Sara.
Many say they look like brother and sister.
These strange women were in front of us, with a bomb-like package...or perhaps we had simply stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb as per the ingenious flick we were seeing.
